摘要
叉头框蛋白M1(Fox M1)是Fox转录因子家族中的一员,在细胞增殖及细胞周期的进展中扮演着重要角色。Fox M1特异性高表达于增殖期细胞和多数恶性肿瘤细胞中,但在细胞静止、分化末期表达消失。近年来研究发现,Fox M1在泌尿系肿瘤中呈高表达,且与肿瘤细胞的增殖、侵袭和转移密切相关,抑制其表达可显著减慢肿瘤的发生、进展。因此,Fox M1有望成为治疗泌尿系肿瘤的新靶点。
Forkhead box protein M1(Fox M1) is a transcription factor of the Forkhead family and has a crucial role in cell proliferation and cell-cycle progression. Expression of Fox M1 is excluded in quiescent or differentiated cells,but its level is highly elevated in proliferating and most of the malignant cells. Recent studies discovered that the expression of Fox M1 increased in urological cancers, and there was a significant correlation between Fox M1 expression and the tumor proliferation, invasion and metastasis. Inhibiting the expression of Fox M1 can reduce the proliferation of tumor cells. Therefore, Fox M1 is expected to be a novel target for the treatment of urological cancers.
