摘要
抗战军兴,国家板荡,中华民族面临着生死存亡的艰难境遇。如何提振民气,调动民众抗日的爱国意识,成为当时政府的重要议题之一。霍去病因在汉武帝时期开疆拓土的卓越贡献,被时人当作英雄重新加以颂扬。国民政府通过祭扫霍去病墓,重新生成政治性的“马踏匈奴”概念以及讲述霍去病的丰功伟绩,力图挖掘霍去病英武勇敢、爱国无私的光辉形象,以此激发中华民族抗日报国、抗战必胜的强大内生力量。质言之,国难时期的寻根意识是建设精神国防的重要体现,是特定历史阶段的社会表达,也是动员民众的一种有效路径。
With the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War and the nation in turmoil,the Chinese nation faced a life-and-death struggle.Boosting public morale and mobilizing patriotic consciousness became critical tasks for the government.Huo Qubing,celebrated for his remarkable contributions to territorial expansion during the Western Han Dynasty,was revived as a national hero.The Nationalist government reshaped his image through rituals at his tomb,reinterpreting the political concept of“Stepping on the Xiongnu”,and recounting his legendary exploits.These efforts aimed to highlight Huo's bravery,patriotism,and selflessness,thereby inspiring the Chinese people with an indomitable spirit to resist Japan and achieve ultimate victory.In essence,the quest for cultural roots during national crisis was a vital manifestation of“spiritual defense”,was a social expression specific to that historical period,and was an effective means of public mobilization.
