摘要
目的:研究基于信息缺口理论与不确定性分类原则,考察负性内容的延迟呈现及时间不确定对个体好奇心的影响。方法:采用信息延迟奖励范式提供延迟情景并操纵材料类型,探讨延迟呈现和时间不确定对在校大学生对负性图片和中性图片的好奇心的影响。实验一操纵延迟条件和材料类型,探讨延迟呈现对不同类型内容好奇心的影响。实验二操纵时间显示条件和材料类型,探讨时间不确定对不同类型内容好奇心的影响。结果:(1)实验一发现延迟呈现能显著降低个体对负性内容的好奇心而对中性内容的好奇心不受影响。(2)实验二发现时间不确定的延迟呈现能显著降低个体对负性材料的好奇心而对中性内容好奇心不受影响。结论:延迟呈现与时间不确定能够显著降低个体对负性内容的好奇心。本研究为降低个体对负性内容的好奇心提供了新方法。
Objective:Based on the information gap theory and uncertainty situation categorization,this study examines the impact of delayed presentation and temporal uncertainty in the presentation of negative content on individuals'curiosity.Methods:The study employed the informational delayed reward paradigm to present delayed scenarios and manipulated the type of material.Exploring the effects of delayed presentation and temporal uncertainty on the curiosity levels of college students toward negative and neutral images.Experiment 1 manipulated delayed presentation and material type to explore the impact of delayed presentation'on different content curiosity.Experiment 2 manipulated temporal display and material type to explore the impact of temporal uncertainty on different content curiosity.Results:Experiment 1 found that delayed presentation of information significantly reduced individuals'curiosity about negative content while curiosity about neutral content was unaffected.Experiment 2 found that delayed presentation for temporal uncertainty significantly reduced individuals'curiosity about negative material while curiosity about neutral content was unaffected.Conclusion:Delayed presentation and temporal uncertainty could significantly reduce individuals'curiosity towards negative content.
