前沿科研成果融入物理化学虚拟仿真实验教学——相平衡与相图计算

Integrating Frontier Scientific Research Achievements into Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching of Physical Chemistry:Phase Equilibrium and Phase Diagram Calculation

摘要 针对《物理化学》课程相平衡章节理论性强、抽象性强、实验与课堂教学结合薄弱的问题,本文介绍了将相图热力学计算前沿科研成果融入虚拟仿真实验的教学方法。为了强化学生对不同体系相图的认知能力,我们设计了二元和三元相图的虚拟仿真项目,引导学生运用Pandat热力学计算软件自主进行Al-Mg和Al-Mg-Si体系的相图计算。学生可自主调控体系组分和温度等关键条件,直观地获得不同体系的二元相图、三元相图、相分数曲线和关键热力学状态函数数据,归纳不同类型相图特点。此外,我们在实验课程中也设置了涉及相平衡知识点的思考题,让学生从问题出发自主开展虚拟仿真实验,提升相平衡章节的授课效果。 nature of the phase equilibrium chapter in the course of physical chemistry,as well as the weak combination of experiments and classroom teaching,this paper introduces the integration of the frontier scientific research achievements in phase diagram thermodynamic calculation into virtual simulation experiments.To strengthen students'cognitive ability of phase diagrams of different systems,we have designed virtual simulation projects of binary and ternary phase diagrams,guiding students to independently conduct phase diagram calculations of Al-Mg and Al-Mg-Si systems using the Pandat thermodynamic calculation software.Students can independently regulate key conditions such as components and temperature,so that they can intuitively obtain binary phase diagrams,ternary phase diagrams,phase fraction curves and data of key thermodynamic state functions of different systems.The characteristics of different types of phase diagrams could also be summarized by the students in a straightforward manner.We have also set up questions in the experimental courses,allowing students to independently carry out virtual simulation experiments starting from the questions,so as to improve the teaching effect of the phase equilibrium chapter.
