摘要
“心中有人”与“目中无人”是王朝闻先生对于艺术创作与艺术欣赏之关系的重要理解。所谓“心中有人”指的是艺术家在创作过程中,要把艺术欣赏者的审美活动估计在内,要尊重和信任艺术服务的对象;“目中无人”是谓艺术家不能把自己对于生活的认识和理解直接言明,而应该通过艺术形象含蓄地表达出来,以便留给艺术欣赏再创造的空间和余地。从艺术欣赏的角度反求于艺术创作,这是王朝闻艺术评论的一大特色。时至今日,这样的一种理论视角和艺术创见依然能够为当下的艺术创作提供重要的指导作用。
“Having an audience in mind”and“seeing no one in sight”are key concepts in Wang Zhaowen’s interpretation of the relationship between artistic creation and appreciation.“Having an audience in mind”refers to the artist’s obligation to anticipate and respect the aesthetic engagement of the audience during the creative process,thereby acknowledging and trusting the recipients of their art.Conversely,“seeing no one in sight”suggests that artists should avoid explicit declarations of their personal interpretations of life,instead conveying meaning implicitly through artistic forms to leave room for the audience’s re-creation during appreciation.Wang Zhaowen’s approach,which critiques artistic creation through the lens of art appreciation,distinguishes his critical methodology.To this day,this theoretical perspective and artistic insight remain vital in guiding contemporary artistic practices.
