Objective To explore the effect of nursing based on enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)model on the prevention of postoperative urinary tract infection in patients with craniocerebral tumor. Methods A total of 70 patients with craniocerebral tumor surgery admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery,Jiangmen Central Hospital from July 2023 to March 2025 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given nursing based on ERAS model. The psychological status, nursing effect and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results After nursing, the scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale, the incidence of urinary tract infection during indwelling catheter and 48 hours after catheter removal in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The total number of days of indwelling catheter was shorter than that of the control group, and the total nursing satisfaction was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The nursing based on ERAS model can improve the postoperative psychological status of patients with craniocerebral tumor, reduce the incidence of postoperative urinary tract infection, shorten the time of indwelling catheter and hospitalization, and improve the satisfaction of nursing.
