摘要
自由曲面加工路径的光顺程度直接影响机床进给运动的平稳性,进而影响加工质量。常规自由曲面加工路径生成方法主要采用等参数或等残高法生成行切或环切路径,本质上是由曲面边界偏置获得的,当边界存在尖角时,偏置后的每条加工路径均存在同样大小的尖角,影响进给运动平稳性。对此,提出一种多轮廓同伦的自由曲面加工路径生成方法,在自由曲面参数域,建立有尖角的曲面边界轮廓到无尖角的光顺轮廓同伦泛函,基于此引导螺旋走刀趋势,根据残高和弓高误差限制,生成侧向行距和走刀步长,从而获得角度变化量减小的加工路径,有利于提高自由曲面加工过程中的进给运动平稳性。
The smoothness of the toolpath for free-form surface machining directly affects the stability of the machine tool feed motion,thereby affecting the machining quality.The conventional methods for generating tool‐path for free-form surfaces mainly adopt equal parameter or equi-residual methods to generate direction-parallel machining or contour-parallel machining paths,which are essentially obtained by offsetting surface boundary curves.If the boundary has sharp corners,each offset toolpath will also have sharp corners with the same size,which affects the smoothness of the feed motion.To deal with this problem,a method for generating tool paths for free-form curve surfaces by homotopy of multiple contours is proposed in this paper.In the parameter domain of the free-form surface,a homotopy function transforming the surface boundary contour with sharp corners to a smooth contour is established.Based on this,the guided spiral toolpath trend is generated,and the line width and tool step are generated according to the constraints of scallop height and chord error,so as to obtain machining paths with low angle variation.This approach is beneficial for improving the stability of the feed motion during free-form surface machining.
