摘要
从对《真真国女儿诗》及相关故事的研究可以看出,视此故事为宝琴的亲身经历,不是她扯谎和编造,兴许更符合小说的实际。这不仅使大观园众女儿打开了视野,看到了外面的世界,又别具一格地塑造了书中唯一的外国人形象,为小说增添了异彩,全面真实地反映了当时的社会生活;真真国女孩子所作的五言律诗以及她“通中国的诗书,会讲五经,能作诗填词”的特点,既彰显了中华文化对海外产生的影响,还表达了身为外国女子的她对中国深切的思念和向往之情。这些情节描写实际上亦是作者曹雪芹的情感折射,表现了他虽身处“末世”,却仍然对中华文化怀有热情,这既是一种文化自信的表现,也是他潜在的民族意识的自然流露。
Research on The Poem by the Lady from Zhenzhen Kingdom and related narratives indicates that these stories could be XUE Baoqin(who is a character in Hong Lou Meng,The Story of the Stone)’s personal experiences,rather than lies or fabrications from her.This view of the stories more accurately reflects the narrative reality in Hong Lou Meng(HLM).This not only broadened the horizons of the girls of Grand View Garden,exposing them to the external world,but also innovatively crafted the sole foreign character in HLM.Therefore,the narrative with exoticism is enriched,and comprehensively and authentically reflects the social life depicted in HLM at that time.The lady from Zhenzhen Kingdom composed five-character regulated verses,and she was proficient in Chinese literary classics and competent in the Five Classics(including poetic composition)as well.It can be seen,from the lady’s case,that the influence of Chinese culture was beyond its borders,and her profound longing and yearning for China was presented as well.These plot descriptions are in fact an emotional reflection of CAO Xueqin(1715-1763,the author of Hong Lou Meng).Despite living in a time of decline during the late Qing Dynasty,CAO remained deeply committed to Chinese culture.This is not only a manifestation of cultural confidence but also a natural expression of his latent national consciousness.
