创新是引领发展的第一动力,创新的核心要素是人才。粤港澳大湾区正努力成为全球科技创新中心和世界大湾区第四极,呼唤大湾区高等教育充分发挥基础支撑和动力引领作用。华南理工大学主动对接国家创新驱动发展战略,深度融入粤港澳大湾区建设进程,通过构建一流创新人才培养体系,推动新工科建设、广州国际校区建设、湾区创新生态群落建设,努力培养造就大批具有全球视野和国际竞争力的拔尖创新人才。
Innovation is the primary driving force of development,and the key to innovation is talent.The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is striving to become the global innovation center of science and technology and the world’s fourth largest bay area,which requires the higher education in this area to support and lead its efforts.South China University of Technology has taken the initiative to follow the national innovation-driven development strategy and deeply integrate into the construction process of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.In order to cultivate a large number of innovative talents with global vision and international competitiveness,South China University of Technology is striving to construct the training system of top innovative talents,and promote the construction of emerging engineering education,Guangzhou international campus and the innovative ecological community in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
