摘要
新物质主义实现了物研究从人文主义向后人文主义范式的转换,主张批评与反思二元对立和人类中心主义思想,提倡建构新的“物自体”观念。新物质主义以显著的科学性体现了科学与人文在后人文时代的深度融合;以强烈的西方现代性思辨展现了古今之争的新时代特征,以鲜明的中国性体现了中西方文明交流互鉴的纵深发展。本文拟从科学性、西方现代性之思辨、中国性三个方面重新阐释新物质主义之新,探讨新物质主义在物研究和人—物关系探索方面的创新性,以及由此引发的新的生命观思考。
New Materialism marks a shift from humanism to post-humanism in the study of things,advocating a critical reflection on dualism and anthropocentrism to establish the concept of“thing-in-itself.”Rooted in a robust scientific foundation,New Materialism signifies the deep integration of science and the humanities in the posthumanistic era.It also engages in an insightful critique of Western modernity,bringing a dialogue between ancient and modern ideologies.Furthermore,it exemplifies the dynamic exchange and profound development of mutual learning between Chinese and Western civilizations,highlighting distinctive Chinese characteristics.This paper explores the novelty of New Materialism from three perspectives:its scientificity,its critique of Western modernity,and its characteristic of Chineseness.It discusses how New Materialism innovates the study of things,investigates the human-thing relationship,amd impacts the reshaping of the philosophy of life in the post-humanistic era.
