摘要
《左傳》載侯犯據郈邑叛魯,叔孫州仇私下求助駟赤,駟赤以“臣之業在《揚水》卒章之四言”答覆。受《詩經》文本訛變影響,駟赤引《詩》之用意長期以來未得到合理解釋。段玉裁據《荀子》中的《詩經》異文,推測駟赤所引爲《唐風·揚之水》卒章末四句,並認爲今本“漢初相傳有脱誤”。但由於《荀子》引文僅存三句,故段氏之意見尚有待證實。本文在梳理舊説的基礎上結合新出安大簡《詩經》,認爲“《揚水》卒章之四言”指“我聞有命,不可以告人;如以告人,害於躬身”四句。駟赤引此,既暗許武叔,又借機製造隱語防止泄露。
In the tenth year of Duke Ding,Zuozhuan recorded that Wushu(武叔),Yizi(懿子)together with the army of Qi circled Hou(郈),because Hou fan(侯犯),a martial officer,has mutinied.Meeting in private,Wushu(武叔)asked for assistant from Sichi(駟赤),a constructional officer in Hou(郈),who replied“my course lies in four lines of the last stanza of Yangshui”.Many scholars have attempted to interpret its meaning using the received Maoshi version of Yang Zhi Shui in Tangfeng,agreement can hardly be reached,however.Having discovered a textual variant“妨其躬身”from Xunzi,Duan Yucai(段玉裁)suggested that some contents in the received version of Yang Zhi Shui has been lost in Han dynasty.However,his idea is inconclusive since Xunzi itself has lost one sentence.This paper discusses the above issues by using the newly unearthed Shijing bamboo slips collected by Anhui university,we point out that the four lines which Si Chi(駟赤)referred is“我聞有命,不可以告人;如以告人,害于躬身”(I have heard your orders,but I am not dare to inform you my plan;for it will harm myself,should it be leaked).By referring to this,SiChi(駟赤)simultaneously made a promise to Wushu(武叔)and yet kept it as a secret.
