聚乙烯亚胺-酚酞探针快速可视化检测酒精度

Rapid and Visual Detection of Alcohol Strength Based on Polyethyleneimine-phenolphthalein Probe

摘要 该研究发现高度支化聚乙烯亚胺分子(PEI)是良好的质子碱。由于水和乙醇溶剂极性不同,PEI在水溶剂中质子化能力较强,在无水乙醇中难质子化。故PEI在不同酒精度溶液中质子化程度不同导致不同酒精度溶液碱性不同,同时利用酚酞指示剂在不同碱性溶液中的颜色变化可实现酒精度的快速比色检测。据此,开发了一种PEI-酚酞探针快速可视化检测酒精度的传感体系。实验结果表明,随着酒精度的增加,PEI-酚酞探针溶液pH值降低,探针体系在556 nm处的吸光度随酒精度的增加逐渐降低,可见光下探针溶液的颜色由紫红色逐渐变为无色。所构建的比色传感体系检测酒精度具有较高的灵敏度和快速响应(1 min),成功用于白酒和医用酒精样品酒精度的检测。 Highly branched polyethyleneimine molecule(PEI)was studied and found to be a good Brnsted base.PEI was easily protonated in water solvent,but its protonation was difficulty in ethanol solvent due to the different polarity between water and ethanol.Therefore,protonation degree of PEI was different in solution with different alcohol strength,causing the different alkalinity.Furthermore,the color change of phenolphthalein indicator(PP)was employed to indicate the different alkalinity,and thus PEI-PP probe was used to construct a colorimetric sensor for rapid and visual detection of alcohol strength.As the alcohol strength increased,the pH value of PEI-PP probe solution decreased,and thus the absorbance of probe solution at 556 nm decreased with increasing alcohol strength,meanwhile the color of probe solution changed from purple to colorless under visible light.The constructed colorimetric sensor showed high sensitivity for the rapid detection(within 1 min)of alcohol strength,and has been successfully used to detect alcohol strength of Chinese liquor and medicinal alcohol.
