摘要
“崆”类地名常见于粤北和粤东山区,如广东最高峰“石坑崆”。作为地名的“崆”在各地也写作“埪”“硿”,都属于方言用字。其本字为“空”,在客家方言中用以表示山间凹陷、坑谷,后来也转指山岳名称。此类地名主要分布于广东客家地区,可视为客家方言特征词。
Place names with"Kong(崆)"are commonly found in the mountainous areas of northern and eastern Guangdong,such as the highest peak in Guangdong,"Shikengkong".As a place name,"Kong"(崆)is also written as"埪"and"硿"in various places,all of which belong to dialect words.Its original Chinese character is"Kong(空)"(empty).It is used in the Hakka dialect to denote mountain depressions,pits,and valleys and later also to the name of the mountain.Such place names are distributed in the Hakka region of Guangdong,and can be regarded as characteristic words of the Hakka dialect.
