摘要
马克思逝世后,恩格斯承担起捍卫和发展马克思主义的重任。在致康拉德·施米特(Conrad Schmidt)、约瑟夫·布洛赫(Joseph Blosh)、弗兰茨·梅林(Franz Mehring)以及瓦尔特·博尔吉乌斯(Walther Borgius)等人的书信中,恩格斯细致论述了与唯物史观有关的一系列重要思想。在《〈论俄国的社会问题〉跋》中,恩格斯深入思考并重新阐释了俄国社会发展道路问题。晚年的恩格斯继续坚持和发展唯物史观,在唯物史观的视域中研究俄国社会问题,提出了研究马克思主义的方法论原则,彰显了其思想智慧和理论魅力。
Since Marx’s death,Engels has shouldered the heavy responsibility of defending and developing Marxism.In his letters to Conrad Schmidt,Joseph Blosh,Franz Mehring and Walther Borgius,Engels elaborated a series of important ideas related to the materialist conception of history.In“Postscript to‘On Social Problems in Russia’”,Engels thought deeply about and reinterpreted the question of the path of social development in Russia.In his later years,Engels adhered to and developed the materialist conception of history,studied the social problems of Russia from the viewpoint of the materialist conception of history,and put forward the methodological principles of Marxism,which demonstrated his intellectual wisdom and theoretical charm.
