摘要
20世纪50年代以来,资本主义社会发展到消费社会与审美资本主义阶段,这使当代资本主义审美政治批判愈加凸显。当代资本主义审美政治批判何以可能?究其实质,乃是因为当代资本主义审美政治批判具有美学的政治向度与政治的美学向度这双重意蕴:审美既含育自由平等的政治理想,又是资本主义政治统治的软策略,且二者之间构成美学的“否定辩证法”。当代资本主义审美政治批判以身体和意识形态为主要对象,集中批判了审美、消费与资本共谋中的感性身体宰制,审美与意识形态合谋中的意识形态操纵。针对当代资本主义社会中人的身心双重宰制所导致的异化,并鉴于现实条件下以暴力革命推翻资本主义社会这条进路难以实现,于是,当代资本主义审美政治批判提出了一种审美治理方略。藉此,审美渗透到社会革命之中,成为个体解放与社会变革的柔性力量,但仅是批判修补而非彻底变革资本主义社会。
Since the 1950s,capitalist society has developed into a consumer society and the stage of aesthetic capitalism,which has made the critique of aesthetic politics in contemporary capitalism increasingly prominent.The critique has a dual meaning of aesthetic politics and political aesthetics:aesthetics contains both the political ideals of freedom and equality and is a soft strategy of capitalist political rule as well;these two constitute the dialectics of aesthetics’negation.The critique mainly targets the body and ideology,focusing on the sensual bodily control in collusion between aesthetics,consumption,and capital,and the ideological manipulation in collusion between aesthetics and ideology.In response to the alienation caused by the dual domination of individuals’body and mind,given the faint possibility of overthrowing capitalist society through violence under current conditions,the critique proposes an aesthetic governance strategy.It is mainly manifested in three aspects:resisting the alienation caused by sensual body,uplifting the mind by aesthetics,fostering equality in aesthetic experience,and building a sensory community.Through this,aesthetics becomes a flexible force for individual liberation and social change,which serves as a critique rather than a thorough transformation of capitalist society.
