摘要
“半月形文化传播带”是童恩正依据考古材料,提出的一条从中国东北到西南的地理文化带。长期以来,对半月形文化带的意义与价值,学界虽有所涉及,但总体上缺乏将其置于中国历史及民族活动框架中,系统考察其与历史上民族活动的内在关联性。事实上,半月形文化带不但被历史时期民族活动所充分印证,且在中华民族形成的历史进程中起了关键性连接作用。半月形文化带不仅为我们认识中国文明起源开辟了新视野,同时北方游牧民族在该地带上的承袭性和文化融合以及所呈现的对农耕区域的包裹性,均构成了中国历史的重要特点。半月形文化带有助于我们摆脱把长城作为农、牧线性分割的认知和多从单一民族视角认识北方民族与华夏农耕民族关系的窠臼,更多看到北方民族在中国历史中的交融连接及文化整体性,从而为我们深入认识理解历史上游牧民族同农耕民族之间的互动整合以及中华民族历史脉络提供了一个新的整体性视野和思路。半月形文化带蕴含着中国历史、考古、民族、地理、语言、生态和人类学的丰富内涵,堪称理解中国民族和历史脉络的一把钥匙。
The "Crescent-shaped Cultural Transmission Belt",which spans from northeast to southwest China,is a geographical and cultural belt proposed by Tong Enzheng based on archaeological materials.For a long time,although the academic community has touched on the significance and value of the Crescent-shaped Cultural Belt,there has been a general lack of placing it within the framework of Chinese history and ethnic activities,and systematically investigating its inherent relationship with historical ethnic activities.As a matter of fact,the Crescent-shaped Cultural Belt has not only been fully substantiated by historical ethnic activities,but also played a crucial role in connecting the historical process that led to the formation of the Chinese nation.The Crescent-shaped Cultural Belt opens up a new perspective for us to understand the origin of Chinese civilization,as well as the continuity and cultural integration of northern nomadic ethnic groups in this area and its encapsulation of agricultural regions,all of which constitute the important characteristics of Chinese history.The Crescent-shaped Cultural Belt helps us break free from the cognitive pattern of regarding the Great Wall as a linear division between agricultural and pastoral areas and from viewing the relationship between northern ethnic groups and the Han agricultural group from a singular ethnic perspective.Instead,it allows us a broader view of the blending and cultural integrity of northern ethnic groups in Chinese history,thereby providing us with a new comprehensive perspective and approach to understanding the historical interaction and the integration between pastoral and agricultural ethnic groups as well as the historical context of the Chinese nation.The Crescent-shaped Cultural Belt encompasses rich historical,archaeological,ethnic,geographic,linguistic,ecological,and anthropological connotations,and thereby can be regarded as a key to understanding the historical context of the Chinese ethnic groups.
