摘要
莆田广化寺选址合理,布局有序,建筑类型丰富,其殿堂建筑既继承北方官式建筑特征,又受到莆田和泉州民居的影响,而在佛塔建筑上,不仅有楼阁式塔,而且还有经幢式塔,以及宝箧印经式塔,蕴含多种文化内涵,对研究莆仙及福建其他地区佛教建筑有着重要意义。
Putian Guanghua Temple has a reasonable site,orderly layout,rich building types,its hall architecture not only inherits the characteristics of northern official architecture,but also influenced by Putian and Quanzhou houses,and in the pagoda architecture,there are not only pavilion-style towers,but also prayer-style towers,and Baoji scripture-style towers,which contain a variety of cultural connotations and are of great significance to the study of Buddhist architecture in Puxian and other parts of Fujian.
