摘要
为研究碳酸钙晶须(CCW)改性沥青及其混合料的性能,采用0.5%,1%,1.5%,2%的CCW改性沥青及沥青混合料进行常规性能试验。测定了改性沥青的针入度、延度、软化点,通过动态剪切流变仪测定改性沥青的流变性能,分析了不同掺量的CCW对沥青基本物理性能以及流变特性的影响。采用车辙试验、三点弯曲试验、冻融劈裂试验以及疲劳试验对不同掺量CCW沥青混合料的路用性能进行评价,对比分析了不同CCW掺量对沥青混合料性能的影响。结果表明:CCW的加入增加了改性沥青体系的硬度,提高了沥青的软化点;CCW可以降低沥青的延度,在掺量大于1%后,改性沥青的延度相对平稳;在试验温度范围内,同基质沥青相比,CCW改性沥青的车辙因子增大;同时,CCW可以提高沥青混合料的高温稳定性,纤维的掺入也一定程度上改善了沥青混合料的低温抗裂性及水稳定性;CCW的最佳掺量为1.5%,与未掺纤维沥青混合料相比,掺1.5%的CCW改性沥青混合料的动稳定度、抗弯抗拉强度、冻融劈裂强度比和疲劳次数分别提高37.2%,18.0%,10.8%和45.8%;在应力比较高的水平下,1.5%含量的CCW改性沥青混合料的疲劳寿命显著高于常规沥青混合料;CCW具有高抗拉强度和较短的晶须长度,使得其可以在沥青混合料中起加筋填充作用,从而控制微裂纹延展,能有效延长沥青混合料寿命。
In order to study the performance of calcium carbonate whisker(CCW)modified asphalt and its mixtures,the conventional performance tests are conducted with 0.5%,1%,1.5%and 2%CCW modified asphalt and asphalt mixtures.The penetration,ductility and softening point of the modified asphalt are measured,the rheological properties of modified asphalt are measured by using a dynamic shear rheometer,and the influences of different CCW contents on the basic physical properties and rheological properties of asphalt are analyzed.Rutting test,three-point bending test,freeze-thaw splitting test and fatigue test are used to evaluate the road performance of CCW asphalt mixtures with different contents,and the effects of different CCW contents on the performance of asphalt mixtures are analyzed comparatively.The result shows that(1)the addition of CCW increases the hardness of the modified asphalt system,and increase the softening point of the asphalt;(2)CCW can reduce the ductility of asphalt,and the ductility of modified asphalt is relatively stable when the content is more than 1%;(3)in the range of test temperature,the rutting factor of CCW modified asphalt increases compared with that of matrix asphalt;(4)at the same time,CCW can improve the high-temperature stability of asphalt mixture,and the addition of fiber can improve the low-temperature crack resistance and water stability of asphalt mixture to some extent;(5)the optimum content of CCW is 1.5%,compared with non-fiber asphalt mixture,the dynamic stability,flexural tensile strength,freeze-thaw splitting strength ratio and fatigue number of CCW modified asphalt mixture with 1.5%increase by 37.2%,18.0%,10.8%and 45.8%respectively;(6)at high stress level,the fatigue life of 1.5%CCW modified asphalt mixture is significantly higher than that of conventional asphalt mixture;(7)CCW has high tensile strength and short whisker length,therefore,it can play a role of reinforcing filling in asphalt mixture for controlling micro-crack propagation and effectively extending the life of asphalt mixture.
