摘要
中国楚舞遗存的当代研创活动,有的执着探寻楚舞的原初形态、追溯楚舞的历史风韵、重建楚舞的独特文化,创作手法偏向传统化,甚至不惜仿古,旨在寻根溯源;有的更多关注楚元素的运用、楚精神的传递、楚意象的重构,创作手法趋于现代化,甚至带来审美的异化,旨在借古出新。中国楚舞遗存的当代研创策略均以“尊古”为前提,朝文物考古与精神考古两个向度掘进与探索:前者的重点在于古之形态、风韵与文化,可以适度拟古,但不能泥古,也可适度现代化,但应规避因文物考古挖掘不深而简单以“今”代之;后者重点在于古之元素、精神与意象,可以适度借古,但不能借古不通“今”,也可适度异化,但应规避因精神考古思辨不足而消解古之内核与本质。其实,文物考古也好、精神考古也罢,其根在“古”,二者殊途同归,合力推动中国古代优秀舞蹈文化汇入“建设中华民族现代文明”的洪流,走向当代复兴。
The contemporary research and creative endeavors on the extant Chu dance in China exhibit divergent strategies.Some persistently seek the primal form of Chu dance,tracing its historical charm,reconstructing its unique cultural essence,leaning towards traditional methods and even resorting the emulation of antiquity,and aiming at tracing origins.Conversely,others focus more on the application of Chu elements,transmission of Chu spirit,and reconstruction of Chu imagery,leaning towards modernization in their creative approach,occasionally resulting in aesthetic alienation,and aiming to innovate while borrowing the past.Contemporary research and creative strategies on China's extant Chu dance are premised on“respecting antiquity,”advancing in two dimensions:cultural relics archaeological and spiritual archaeology.The former emphasizes ancient forms,charm,and culture,allowing moderate emulation of the past but avoiding mere replication.It also allows for moderate modernization,steering clear of oversimplification by substituting the present due to superficial cultural archaeological excavations.The latter emphasizes ancient elements,spirit,and imagery,permitting moderate borrowing from the past but avoiding borrowing that fails to resonate with the present.It also allows for moderate alienation but avoids dissolving the essence and core of the ancient due to insufficient speculation in spiritual archaeology.In essence,whether cultural relics archaeology or spiritual archaeology,both are rooted in antiquity,converging to propel China's ancient outstanding dance culture into the torrent of“building modern civilization of the Chinese nation”,thus moving towards contemporary rejuvenation.
