摘要
科技奖励是激励科研人员开展科技创新工作的重要举措,在科学普及领域,奖励也发挥着同样的功能,鼓励更多的科技工作者从事科普工作,提升国家整体科普能力。本文以55项国外科普奖励和30项国内科普奖励为对象开展定量分析,重点围绕设奖时间、评奖周期、奖励对象、奖励形式、设奖主体以及奖励领域等进行比较分析。研究发现,近年来我国科普奖励虽已进入快速发展阶段,但与国际上相比,还存在奖励发展阶段滞后、奖励对科普人员激励不足以及缺乏有影响力的奖励品牌等问题。文章最后提出加强科普奖励的重视程度和资金投入,加强科普奖励对科普人员的激励作用以及加强对科普奖励品牌和影响力的建设等建议。
As science and technology rewards are important measures to motivate researchers to carry out scientific and technological innovation work,the awards in the field of science popularization do the same.Science popularization awards play an important role in encouraging more science and technology workers to engage in science popularization,thus strengthening the overall national science popularization capacity construction.In this paper,quantitative analysis concerning 55 science popularization awards abroad and 30 domestically is conducted based on a database with information about the awards above,such as when an award started,how often it is organized and held,recipients,prizes ofit,organizers,as well as fields and etc.The results show that the science popularization awards in China have been developing rapidly in recent years.Compared with their foreign counterparts,science popularization awards in China in a lagging stage of development,less awarded to individuals and short of influential brands.Thus,suggestions regarding the development of science popularization awards in China are put forward as follows:paying more attention and capital investment to science popularization awards,to human beings as recipients,and to the brand and influence of science popularization awards.
