摘要
基于2014-2015年中国教育追踪调查数据(CEPS),检验体育锻炼对青少年非认知能力的影响及其作用机制。研究结果显示:体育锻炼对青少年非认知能力有显著正向作用,且这一研究结论在应用工具变量法和倾向得分匹配方法后保持足够的稳健性。进一步的中介效应分析表明,体育锻炼能够通过密切同学交往和强化亲子关系提升非认知能力,这为理解青少年非认知能力的决定因素提供了新的理论视角和经验证据。学校及家庭层面应当合理划分青少年学生的学习和体育锻炼时间安排,充分提高青少年体育锻炼的参与度。
The paper examines the effect of physical activity on adolescents’non-cognitive abilities and its mechanism of action based on the 2014-2015 China Education Tracking Survey(CEPS)data.The research findings show that the physical activity has a significant positive effect on adolescents’non-cognitive abilities,and this finding remains sufficiently robust after applying the instrumental variables method and propensity score matching method.Further mediation effect analysis shows that physical activity can enhance non-cognitive abilities through closer peer interactions and strengthen parent-child relationships.This provides new theoretical perspectives and empirical evidence for understanding the determinants of adolescents’non-cognitive abilities.Schools and families should rationally divide the study and physical activity schedules of adolescent students to fully increase the participation of physical activity among adolescents.
