摘要
5G NR组播广播在2019年12月被国际移动通信标准化组织3GPP立项,已于2022年6月完成标准冻结,这意味着该项技术已经正式成为国际标准。本文介绍了5G NR组播广播在3GPP R17中的进展情况,并讨论了5G NR组播广播在R17中的系统架构、新增模块、新增组件和新增接口。
5G NR multicast broadcast was initiated by the International Mobile Communications Standardization Organization(3GPP)in December 2019 and completed standard freezing in June 2022.With the freezing of R17,this technology has officially become an international standard.This article introduces the progress of 5G NR multicast broadcast in 3GPP R17 and discusses the system architecture,new modules,new components,and new interfaces introduced in R17 for 5G NR multicast broadcast.
