摘要
地学制图是矿产资源调查、防震减灾和地学研究中的一项重要基础性工作。通用制图软件GMT(GenericMapping Tools)是一款优秀、先进、开源且使用广泛的地学制图工具。它在底图、投影、符号、图例和图式等方面具有丰富的绘图模式选择,同时也拥有强大的数据筛选、重采样、滤波、插值、拟合和线性回归分析能力,定制化和自动化程度较高,具有良好的跨平台能力,可运行在Linux、macOS等类UNIX系统及Windows上。GMT也可以为Python、MATLAB、Fortran等语言提供API,方便它们直接调用GMT绘制图。文章利用该工具,阐述其在地形图、断层图和地震图等方面的应用,并结合宿迁处于郯庐断裂所经区域的特点,具体绘制了郯庐断裂相关图件。
Geo mapping is an important basic work in mineral resources survey,earthquake prevention and disaster reduction and geoscience research.The general mapping software GMT(Generic Mapping Tools) is an excellent,advanced,open source and widely used tool in plotting geological map.It has a wealth of drawing mode choices in base map,projection,symbol,legend and schema,and also has powerful data filtering,resampling,filtering,interpolation,fitting and linear regression analysis capabilities.It has a high degree of customization and automation,and has good cross platform capability.It can run on UNIX like systems such as Linux,macOS,and Windows.GMT can also provide APIs for languages such as Python,MATLAB,Fortran,etc.,making it convenient for them to directly call GMT to draw graphs.The article uses this tool to explain its application in topographic maps,fault maps,and seismic maps,and combines the characteristics of Suqian in the area where the Tanlu Fault passes through to draw specific maps related to the Tanlu Fault.
