皮秒激光辅助砂带磨削TC17钛合金材料去除行为研究 被引量:4

Research on the Material Removal of TC17 Titanium Alloy by Picosecond Laser Assisted Belt Grinding

摘要 钛合金具有强度高、耐热性好等特点,属于典型的难加工材料。激光辅助加工可改变材料的性能,显著提高材料的加工性能。提出了皮秒激光辅助砂带磨削TC17钛合金新方法,基于皮秒激光辅助单磨粒划擦,研究了激光辐照工艺参数对表面预热温度以及磨粒的不同初始压力对主切削力、材料去除行为的影响规律。仿真结果表明,激光功率和激光扫描速度均对表面温度影响显著,在激光功率为4.8 W和激光扫描速度为300 mm/s时,激光辐照表面最大温度为2019℃,超过了TC17的熔点。实验结果表明,与单磨粒划擦相比,皮秒激光辅助单磨粒划擦可显著减小主切削力,最大可减小58.7%;适当的激光功率辅助加工可提高材料的去除能力,在激光功率为1.8~2.4 W时最优,过大的激光功率反而会导致材料去除能力变弱;辅助加工材料去除行为仍主要表现为延性去除,磨屑随着激光功率的增加逐渐转变为锯齿形磨屑。皮秒激光辅助砂带磨削加工结果显示,磨削区域的力热耦合作用降低,提高了表面的加工质量。 Titanium alloy has the characteristics of high strength and high thermal strength,which is a typical difficult-to-machine material.Laser assisted machining can change the properties of a material and significantly improve its machinability.A new method of picosecond laser assisted belt grinding of TC17 titanium alloy is proposed,and the influence of laser parameters on surface preheating temperature and different initial pressures of single grain on the main cutting force and material removal behavior is studied based on the picosecond laser-assisted single grain scratching.Simulation results show that the laser power and laser scanning speed have a significant impact on the surface temperature,and the maximum temperature of the laser irradiation surface is 2019℃when the laser power is 4.8 W and the laser scanning speed is 300 mm/s,which exceeds the melting point of TC17.Experimental results show that compared with single grain scratch,picosecond laser-assisted single grain scratch can significantly reduce the main cutting force,which can be at a max reduction of 58.7%.The material removal ability has been improved under reasonable laser power,and the laser power is optimal when the laser power is 1.8~2.4 W,while the large laser power will lead to the weakening of the material removal ability.The material removal behavior is still mainly manifested as plastic removal by laser assisted machining,and the chips are transformed into zigzag chips with the increase of laser power.The results of the picosecond laser assisted belt grinding show that the thermal-mechanical coupling effect in the grinding area is reduced,and the processing quality of the surface has been improved.
