摘要
探讨数字经济能否有效促进出口技术复杂度的提高,对于推动中国贸易强国建设和高质量发展具有重要意义。在测度2005—2019年中国281个地级及以上城市的数字经济发展水平和出口技术复杂度的基础上,采用固定效应模型进行研究,发现:(1)数字经济能显著提升城市出口技术复杂度,其中东部城市享受到的数字经济红利比中、西部城市更大。(2)中介效应结果显示,削减贸易成本是数字经济推动出口技术复杂度提升的重要机制。(3)数字经济发展具有明显的空间溢出效应,不仅能提升本城市的出口技术复杂度,而且对邻近城市的出口技术复杂度具有正面影响。上述发现丰富了数字经济提升出口技术复杂度的经验证据,为制定数字经济促进外向型经济发展策略提供有益参考。
It is of great significance to explore whether the digital economy can effectively drive the improvement of export technologic sophistication for promoting China's high-quality development and turning China into a trader of quality.Based on the data of digital economy development level and export technologic sophistication of 281 prefecture-level and above cities in China from 2011 to 2019,we find that:first,the digital economy has significantly increased cities export technologic sophistication,and the eastern cities enjoy greater digital dividends than the central and western cities.Second,the mediator effect results show that reducing trade costs is an important mechanism for the digital economy to promote the export technologic sophistication.Third,digital economy has obviously spatial spillover effects,which not only improve the export technologic sophistication of the cities,but also have a positive effect on neighboring cities.The above studies enriched the empirical evidence that the digital economy enhances export technologic sophistication,and provided beneficial information for relevant regions to formulate strategies for digital economy and promote export-oriented economic development.
