摘要
为了提高印花织物的耐摩擦色牢度和耐日晒牢度,以聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)乳液为种子粒子、以丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、甲基丙烯酸(MAA)和甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)为共聚单体,采用乳液聚合法制备聚四氟乙烯/聚丙烯酸酯(PTFE/PAcr)复合胶乳,并应用于涤纶织物(牛津布)的涂料印花。考察了引入不同质量分数PTFE对复合胶膜的疏水性、热性能及对印花织物K/S值、耐摩擦色牢度的影响。结果表明:PTFE/PAcr复合胶粒呈现核壳结构,随着PTFE质量分数的增加,复合胶膜疏水性能增加,热稳定性提高。以复合乳胶为黏合剂的涂料印花涤纶织物K/S值为13.15、干湿摩擦色牢度均达到5级,较传统聚丙烯酸酯黏合剂的印花织物具有更好的色深和耐摩擦色牢度;经100 h连续日晒测试,印花织物的色深和色牢度未发生明显变化,具有良好的耐日晒牢度。
Pigment printing is widely used in textile printing and dyeing due to the reduction of washing process, low environmental pollution and low energy consumption. According to incomplete statistics, the pigment printing process is widely used in the world, accounting for 55% of the total printing volume. In recent years, there is still a gap between the home printed fabrics and foreign products in color fastness and sunlight resistance, although pigment printing has made great progress in China. As pigment particles lack affinity to fibers, those particles are adhered to the fabric surface with the help of adhesives during pigment printing. At present, waterborne polyacrylate adhesives are widely used in pigment printing because of their good adhesion, bright color, low pollution and low cost. However, polyacrylate has the problems of poor water resistance for being sticky when heated and fragile when cooled, and poor color fastness of pigment printed fabrics, which cause yellowing under high temperature, outdoor sunlight and other environments. Therefore, it is of great significance that the development of the pigment binder can promote the pigment printed products with the improvement of the hydrophobicity, color fastness and light fastness.In order to improve the rubbing color fastness and sunlight of pigment printed fabrics, we used polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) lotion as seed particles, butyl acrylate(BA), methacrylic acid(MAA) and methyl methacrylate(MMA) as comonomers to prepare polytetrafluoroethylene/polyacrylate(PTFE/PAcr) composite latex by lotion polymerization, and applied the composite latex into print polyester(Oxford cloth) pigment by taking the former as a binder. We investigated the effects of PTFE with different mass fractions on the hydrophobicity and thermal properties of the composite adhesive films and on the K/S value, hydrophobicity and color fastness to rubbing of the printed fabric. The color fastness and light resistance of printed fabrics were investigated by 100 h of continuous sunlight test. It was found that with the increase of PTFE, the water contact angle of the printed fabric increased gradually, while the thermal stability was improved. The K/S value of pigment printed polyester fabric with composite latex as a binder was 13.15, and the color fastness to dry and wet rubbing reached grade 5, indicating such fabrics had better color depth and color fastness to rubbing than the printed ones with a traditional polyacrylate binder. The color depth and color fastness of the printed fabrics have not changed significantly after 100 h of continuous sunlight test, suggesting the printed fabrics have good light fastness. The PTFE/PAcr composite latex shows promising potential to be used as pigment adhesives for its good water resistance, aand high color fastness and light fastness.The successful preparation of PTFE/PAcr composite latex provides an inspiration for the traditional pigment printing adhesives. By introducing PTFE and polyacrylate to complement each other, the adhesion and interfacial compatibility of PTFE are improved, and the color fastness and sun fastness of printed fabrics are enhanced.
