基于中轴变换的直刃刀汉字雕刻方法

摘要 为改善汉字雕刻的加工环境与加工质量,提出了一种采用直线刃刀具雕刻汉字的加工方法。对待加工汉字进行中轴变换,然后基于中轴线的连续性将汉字分成若干个区域。通过每个区域内加工深度下的中轴线确定刀具路径,通过每个加工点处刀具路径与边界曲线的相对位置确定工具坐标系姿态。加工时刀具沿同一条刀具路径先后以不同姿态加工两侧边界曲线,并在区域交界处通过垂直走刀使加工区域与工件完全分离。加工后汉字截面呈“V”形,符合汉字雕刻需要。通过固定加工深度可实现等深度雕刻、固定刀具倾斜角度可实现等锥度雕刻,能适应不同应用场景。实现了给定待加工轮廓的中轴变换结果与刀具结构生成符合加工要求的刀具路径。通过仿真加工与实际加工共同验证了所提方法的可行性。 In order to improve the processing environment and quality of Chinese characters carving,a method for Chinese characters carving by using a straight blade cutter was proposed.The given character was divided into several regions based on the continuity of the medial axis.The tool path was determined by the processing depth and the medial axis,and the tool posture was determined by the relative position of the tool path and boundary.When machining,the tool processed both sides boundary along the same tool path and in different inclining angles,and then vertically machined the junction of adjacent regions to completely separate the machining area and workpiece.The machined section of workpiece was"V"shape,which could satisfy the requirement of character carving.By making the processing depth be constant,the equaldepth carving can be achieved;and by making the tool inclining angle be constant,the equal-angle carving can be achieved.The method can automatically generate the desired tool path by input the MAT of the given boundary and the parameters of the cutter.The feasibility of the proposed method has been verified by simulation and actual machining.
