锂离子电池过充故障和胀气过程的热行为 被引量:3

摘要 电池故障演化过程中的热行为监测对电池安全管控不可或缺。通过实验和仿真,研究40 Ah方形磷酸铁锂正极锂离子电池过充故障和胀气过程中的热行为。考虑电池材料物理性质对温度的依赖性,分析电池温度在故障过程的演化特征和表面测温的有效性。过充故障发生时,通过监测表面温度难以获取电池真实的热状态,电压跌落前,电池内外温差超过11.0℃;电池鼓胀产生的气体阻碍了内部的热传递以及电池与外部的换热;当气体层厚度超过3 mm时,电池内外的最大温差和表面平均温度比未胀气的分别高约2.0℃和1.0℃。这为电池组内故障电池的不一致分析和定位提供了参考。 The monitoring of thermal behavior during the evolution of battery faults was essential for battery safety control.The thermal behavior of the 40 Ah square lithium iron phosphate cathode Li-ion battery during overcharge fault and swelling process was investigated through experiment and simulation.Considering the dependence of battery material physical properties on temperature, the evolution characteristics of battery temperature in the fault process and the effectiveness of surface temperature measurement were analyzed.When the overcharge fault occurred, it was difficult to obtain the actual thermal state of the battery by monitoring the surface temperature, the temperature difference between inside and outside of the battery exceeded 11.0 ℃ before the voltage drop.The gas generated by the expansion of the battery hindered the internal heat transfer and the heat transfer between the battery and the outside.When the thickness of the gas layer exceeded 3 mm, the maximum temperature difference between the inside and outside of the battery and the average surface temperature were approximately 2.0 ℃ and 1.0 ℃ higher than no-swelling batteries, respectively.It provided a reference for inconsistent analysis and localization of faulty batteries in battery pack.
