铷原子低次谐波产生中的载波拉比振荡特征

摘要 本文通过数值求解三维含时薛定谔方程,研究了铷原子在ω=E_(5p)-E_(5s)共振激光及非共振激光驱动下的三次谐波发射特性.结果表明,在共振波长驱动下,当脉冲面积为2π时,三次谐波展示了一个正常的峰值结构,通过分析5s态和5p态的布居分布,发现这种峰值结构源于拉比振荡;随着脉冲面积的增大,三次谐波结构变得更加复杂,其与载波拉比振荡相关,此时面积定理不再适用.在非共振波长驱动下,无论脉冲面积为2π或者大于2π,三次谐波都展示出正常的峰值结构,通过布居分析,发现非共振波长驱动下,不能满足拉比振荡及载波拉比振荡的条件. In this paper,by numerically solving the three-dimensional time-dependent Schrodinger equation,we investigate emission characteristics of the third order harmonic from Rubidium atoms in resonant laser withω=E_(5p)-E_(5s) and non-resonant laser.The results show that the third harmonic shows a general peak structure when the pulse area is 2π,which is related to the Rabi flopping by analyzing the population distributions of the 5s and 5p states.As the areas of the pulse increase,the structure of the third harmonic becomes more complex,which is related to the carrier-wave Rabi flopping,and the area theorem is no longer applicable.Under the non-resonant laser pulses,the third harmonic shows a general peak structure no matter the pulse areas are 2πor greater than 2π.it is found that the conditions of the Rabi flopping and the carrier-wave Rabi flopping cannot be satisfied by analyzing the population distributions when using the non-resonant laser pulses.
