摘要
随着车流量的增加,交通负荷增大,多数城市在信号交叉口设置了左转待转区或实施干线信号联控,以达到缓解交通堵塞、提高通行能力的目的。但交叉口左转待转区的设置对干线信号联控的影响分析却少有研究。文章以信控方案相位相序的不同表征交叉口有无左转待转区的设置,提出了两种信控方案,利用VISSIM和间接安全仿真软件(SSAM)搭建综合评价体系,通过仿真结果,分析左转待转区对信号联控干线效率性和安全性的影响。结果表明:在实施信号联控的干线,设立左转待转区后,交通效率有所降低,交通安全情况有所增加。因此,在实施干线信号联控的交叉口应针对具体情况合理设置左转待转区,避免因盲目设置造成交通效率与安全的降低。
With the increase of traffic flow and traffic load, left-turn waiting area and signal coordination are effective ways to ease traffic pressure and improve traffic capacity at intersections in most cities. However, there are few researches on the impact of left-turn waiting area on the signal-coordinated arterials. In this paper, the different phase sequence of signal coordination status is used to indicate whether there is left-turn waiting zone at intersections. Two types of signal-coordination control models are proposed.VISSIM and Surrogate Safety Assessment Model(SSAM) are used to build a comprehensive evaluation system. Through the analysis of the simulation results, the influence of the left-turn waiting area on the efficiency and safety of the signal-coordinated arterials is analyzed. The results show that the traffic efficiency is reduced, while the traffic safety is increased after the left-turn waiting area is set up in the signal-coordinated arterials. Therefore, the left-turn waiting area should be reasonably set up at intersections where the signal coordination on arterials is implemented, so as to avoid the reduction of traffic efficiency and safety.
