Research progress of precise structural regulation of single atom catalyst for accelerating electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction 被引量:2

摘要 The development and utilization of renewable clean energy can effectively solve the two major problems of energy and environment. As an efficient power generation device that converts hydrogen energy into electric energy, fuel cell has attracted more and more attention. For fuel cells, the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) at the cathode is the core reaction, and the design and development of high-performance ORR catalysts remain quite challenging. Since the microenvironment of the active center of single atom catalysts(SACs) has an important influence on its catalytic performance, it has been a research focus to improve the ORR activity and stability of electrocatalysts by adjusting the structure of the active center through reasonable structural regulation methods. In this review, we reviewed the preparation and structure–activity relationship of SACs for ORR. Then, the structural precision regulation methods for improving the activity and stability of ORR electrocatalysts are discussed. And the advanced in-situ characterization techniques for revealing the changes of active sites in the electrocatalytic ORR process are summarized. Finally, the challenges and future design directions of SACs for ORR are discussed. This work will provide important reference value for the design and synthesis of SACs with high activity and stability for ORR.

作者简介 Minmin Wang obtained her Master’s degree at China University of Petroleum(East China)in 2021.She is currently a Ph.D.candidate under the supervision of Professor Yunqi Liu and Yuan Pan at China University of Petroleum(East China).Her current research focuses on the preparation of single-atom catalyst and its application in electrocatalytic reaction;Yunqi Liu is a professor in State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil Processing at China University of Petroleum(East China).He was awarded a Ph.D.in Applied Chemistry from China University of Petroleum in 2000.Dr.Liu then worked two years as a postdoctoral follow in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics at Chinese Academy of Sciences.His research interests focus on petroleum refining and chemical engineering,catalytic materials and catalysts;Hui Zhang obtained her bachelor’s degree at China University of Petroleum(East China)in 2022.She is currently a Master candidate under the supervision of Professor Yuan Pan at China University of Petroleum(East China).Her current research focuses on the preparation of single-atom catalyst and its application in electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction;Corresponding author:Yuan Pan received his Ph.D.in College of Chemical Engineering at China University of Petroleum(East China)in 2016.After postdoctoral work at Tsinghua University with Prof.Yadong Li,he joined the College of Chemical Engineering at China University of Petroleum(East China)as an associate professor in 2019.His research interests focus on the design and synthesis of single-atom materials for energy-related catalytic application.E-mail address:panyuan@upc.edu.cn。
