摘要
明末清初著名文学家、戏剧家李渔的白话短篇小说《男孟母教合三迁》因别出心裁、真实反映社会风气而颇受市民大众欢迎,时至今日仍然影响深远、历久弥新。中国台湾创作社主创人员周慧玲根据《男孟母教合三迁》改编出现代舞台剧《少年金钗男孟母》,亦备受大众青睐。该剧在继承李渔原作的基础上进行了多方面、多层次的现代改写,既有对原作的延续,又有对主题的革新、对情欲分立理念的变更、对当下社会文化和生存环境的观照;与此同时,将兼具客观理性和主观细腻的编剧理念渗入创作,反思现代社会中的性别意识和家庭观念。探索改编剧作与原作的互文,对其进行的演绎、解构与重构,思考潜藏在改编作品背后的现代台湾社会性别观念的演变。
Written and directed by the founder of China's Taiwan Creative Society,Zhou Huiling,the play“He Is My Wife.He Is My Mother”is adapted from“A Male Mother Meng Changes His Residence Three Times to Protect His Foster Child,”the sixth chapter of the short story collection“The Silent Drama,”written by Li Yu(1611-1680),a famous litterateur and dramatist in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.The play is a multi-faceted and multi-layered modern rewriting of the original,which continues the meaning of Li Yu's original work while revamping the theme,altering the concept of the separation of love and desire,and addressing the current sociocultural milieu.Meanwhile,the dramaturg infiltrates objective rationality and subjective delicacy into the adaptation,reflecting on gender consciousness and family concepts in modern society.By exploring the intertextuality of“He is my wife.He is my mother”and Li Yu's“A Male Mother Meng Changes His Residence Three Times to Protect His Foster Child,”and the adaptation's deconstruction and reconstruction of the original,this paper aims to shed light on the evolution of gender concepts in China's Taiwan.
