摘要
预印本论文加速了科研成果的交流与分享,在新冠疫情期间发挥了突出的作用。现有研究中缺乏对预印本影响力的多维度优势检验。本文探索并验证在bioRxiv存档对后期发表期刊论文的被引次数、社会关注度及临床转化潜力多方面的影响。以bioRxiv预印本平台为例,选取神经科学、生物信息学、遗传学三个子领域,计算bioRxiv预印本平台存档的期刊论文在引文、社会关注度及临床转化潜力方面的影响力优势,并通过分位数回归方法验证影响的显著性。研究发现,bioRxiv自存档的期刊论文具有多维度的影响力优势;不同学科子领域期刊论文影响力优势表现不同;bioRxiv自存档对不同水平的论文被引次数、社会关注度和临床转化潜力的影响程度不同。
Preprint papers have played a prominent role during the COVID-19 pandemic by accelerating the exchange and sharing of research findings. The existing research lacks the multi-dimensional advantage test of preprint influence. This paper explores and verifies the impact of bioRxiv archiving on the number of citations, social attention, and clinical translational potential of later published journal papers.Taking the bioRxiv preprint platform as an example, the influence advantages of journal papers archived on the bioRxiv preprint platform in terms of citation, social attention and clinical transformation potential were calculated by selecting three sub-fields of neuroscience, bioinformatics and genetics, and the significance of the influence was verified by quantile regression method. It is found that bioRxiv’s self-archived journal papers have multi-dimensional influence advantages. The influence advantages of journal papers in different disciplines are different. BioRxiv self-archiving has different effects on paper citation times, social attention and clinical transformation potential at different levels.
