摘要
现代汉语中有一组具有共同语素“信”的情状副词,它们都具有[+随意性]的语义特征,但虚化程度有异,其中“信口”是较具特殊性的一个。“信口”的产生是在唐代“信”语法化为介词的基础上,于宋代在“信口+VP”的高频率使用下词汇化而来,经历了明清时期句法功能的大为扩展后,“信口”的使用急转直下。由于介词“信”的消亡,及具有相同语义词族的兴起,“信X”情状副词的使用频率显著降低,“信口”也因此渐趋语素化。
In modern Chinese,there is a group of adverbs of manner with the same morpheme“Xin”.They all have the semantic characteristics of[+randomness],but the degree of grammaticalization is different,among which“Xinkou”is a special one.“Xinkou”came into being on the basis of grammaticalization of“Xin”into preposition in Tang Dynasty and high frequent use of lexicalization of“Xinkou+VP”in Song Dynasty.After a great expansion of syntactic function in Ming and Qing Dynasties,the use of“Xinkou”changed sharply.Due to the disappearance of preposition“Xin”and the rise of word family with the same semantic meaning,the adverbs of manner of“Xin(X)”are used less frequently and“Xin Kou”is becoming morpheme.
