摘要
文章旨在研究中草药提取物对热应激肉牛生长性能、养分消化、瘤胃发酵和肉品质的影响。试验将48头体重无统计学差异的肉牛随机分为两组,每组24头,每组12个重复,每个重复2头牛。对照组与处理组肉牛分别饲喂全混合日粮+0和120 mg/kg中草药提取物,试验为期8周,饲养环境温度为(32±1.5)℃。结果:与对照组相比,中草药提取物组肉牛日增重、中性洗涤纤维和粗蛋白质表观消化率显著提高7.92%、3.80%和19.71%(P<0.05),而料重比显著降低14.49%(P<0.05)。120 mg/kg中药提取物组肉牛瘤胃丙酸浓度、血清甘油三酯和高密度脂蛋白浓度及血清谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶活性较对照组分别显著提高15.48%、53.57%、25.0%和28.67%(P<0.05),但血清丙二醛浓度显著降低29.6%(P<0.05)。对照组与处理组对肉牛屠宰率、眼肌面积、pH、肉色、肌肉水分和粗蛋白质含量的影响无显著差异(P>0.05)。与对照组相比,120 mg/kg中药提取物组肌肉的蒸煮损失、剪切力和肌间脂肪含量显著降低12.21%、15.46%和21.96%(P<0.05)。结论:夏季高温会引起肉牛热应激,进而导致生长性能下降,本研究在全混合日粮中添加120 mg/kg中草药提取物可改善粗蛋白质和中性洗涤纤维表观消化率,血清抗氧化能力提高,进而缓解热应激对肉牛生长和肉品质的负面效应。
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Chinese herbal extracts on growth performance,nutrient digestion,rumen fermentation and meat quality of beef cattle with heat stress caused by high temperature in summer.Forty-eight beef cattle with no statistical difference in body weight were randomly divided into 2 groups with 24 cattle in each group and 12 replicates in each group and 2 cattle in each replicate.Beef cattle in control group and treatment group were fed with total mixed diet+0 and 120 mg/kg Chinese herbal medicine extract,respectively,during the 8-week feeding experiment at ambient temperature of 32±1.5℃.Results:Compared with the control group,the daily gain,neutral detergent fiber and crude protein apparent digestibility of beef cattle in Chinese herb extract group were significantly increased by 7.92%,3.80%and 19.71%(P<0.05),while the feed to gain ratio was significantly decreased by 14.49%(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,rumen propionic acid concentration,serum triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein concentration and serum glutathione peroxidase activity in 120 mg/kg Chinese medicine extract group were significantly increased by 15.48%,53.57%,25.0%and 28.67%(P<0.05),respectively.But the serum malondialdehyde concentration was significantly decreased by 29.6%(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between control group and treatment group in slaughter rate,eye muscle area,pH value,meat color,muscle moisture and crude protein content(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the cooking loss,shear force and intramuscular fat content in 120 mg/kg TCM extract group were significantly decreased by 12.21%,15.46%and 21.96%(P<0.05).Conclusion:High temperature in summer can cause heat stress of beef cattle,which leads to the decline of growth performance.In this study,adding 120 mg/kg Chinese herbal medicine extract into the total mixed diet can improve the apparent digestibility of crude protein and neutral detergent fiber,improve the serum antioxidant capacity,and alleviate the negative effects of heat stress on the growth and meat quality of beef cattle.
