摘要
基于行为主义语言学习观和整体主义认识观,本文着重论述了奎因的不确定性理论:包括指称的不确定性、翻译的不确定性、原始/极端翻译等概念。这些概念的提出对于翻译理论的发展具有重要的开创性意义,但同时也引发了很多争议。本文对这些论题引起的争议进行了分析和探讨。
On the basis of Quine's behaviorist approach to language learning and holistic epistemology,the present article illustrates his theories of indeterminacy(e.g.,indeterminacy of reference,indeterminacy of translation,the concept of radical translation),and sketches some controversies concerning these theories.
