述宾结构“认X”意合途径的体认语言学探讨 被引量:4

An Embodied-Cognitive Study on the Abstraction Approaches of the Verb-Object Structure“Ren X”

摘要 “认X”系述宾结构,最初表达行为“认”+受事“X”,后来也可表达由“认识”变化而来的行为“认”+非受事“X”,后者的意合性强,对其意合途径的探讨有助于更客观地揭示其生成规律。研究表明:动词“认”具有多义性,其引申义均源自基本义“认识”,且基本义与引申义形成三条意义链;意义引申而来的“认”与表征非受事的“X”生成意合表达式,其意合基于“认识”行为事件,涉及转喻、转隐喻等认知操作;由“认识”变化而来的“认+非受事宾语X”的意合途径可分为三大类,即行为述语和非受事宾语均转喻、行为述语和非受事宾语先各自转喻再整体转喻、行为述语转喻和非受事宾语转隐喻。 The Chinese expression“ren X”(认X)belongs to the verb-object structure,which originally represents action“ren”+patient“X”and then also represents the evolved“ren shi”(认识)-based action“ren”+non-patient“X”,while the latter is endowed with more abstraction.The analysis of the abstract formal representation of the latter type“ren X”is aimed at exploring its generating laws more objectively,in order to be closer to the truth.The findings are as follows:the verb“ren”has multiple meanings,and the extended meanings all evolve from its basic meaning“ren shi”,and finally the extended meanings together with its basic meaning form three types of meaning-chain;the extended“ren”combine with the non-patient“X”to form some abstract expressions,whose abstraction is based on embodiment and cognition to the extent that embodiment is based on the“ren X”action event,and its abstraction relates to metonymy or metometaphor;abstraction approaches of the combined concept by extended“ren”and the non-patient“X”are divided into three main kinds,that is,both“ren”and“X”are metonymized,overall metonymy after both“ren”and“X”are metonymized,and“ren”is metonymized while“X”metometaphorized.
