摘要
与传统哲学不同,怀特海哲学表现出特有的母性特征:在宇宙论方面,发挥凝聚作用的“实际实有”是万物生成的基础;在自然观方面,视自然为有生命的机体,倡导自然之美、生态和谐,以及人类保护自然的责任与义务;在教育方面,认为学生的成长离不开如母亲般呵护他的教师给予其引导;在文明的实现方面,认为“伟人”是那些善于运用说服方式的人,“商业”属于说服性的社会技术,文明的进展呈现为“说服战胜征服”的过程。怀特海哲学的母性特征,彰显出它作为后现代哲学独特的建设性。
Whitehead’s philosophy differs from traditional philosophy in its unique manifestation of maternal characteristics.In terms of cosmology,it considers that“actual entity”plays a cohesive role as the basis for the creation of all things.In the view of nature,it regards nature as a living organism,and advocates the beauty of nature,ecological harmony,and the responsibility and obligation of human beings to protect nature.In the aspect of education,it believes that the growth of students cannot be separated from motherly teachers who give them proper guidance.As to the realization of civilization,it holds that“great people”are those who are good at applying persuasive methods while“business”falls into the category of persuasive social technology and the progress of civilization shows as a process of persuasion over conquest.The maternal characteristics of Whitehead’s philosophy highlight its special constructiveness as a postmodern philosophy.
