The effects of slow-release fertilizer on dry matter accumulation, nutrient utilization, soil nutrients and soil enzymes activity of asparagus lettuce were studied. The results showed that the application of slow release nitrogen fertilizer, common chemical phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer combined with 400 kg·667 m^(-2)bio-organic fertilizer could significantly improve the nutrient uptake and utilization and soil fertility of asparagus lettuce compared with conventional fertilization. The dry matter accumulation of root, stem and leaf increased by 33.2%,11.6%and 23.1%respectively,the total accumulation of N,P and K in lettuce plants increased 59.96%,54.48%and 22.23%compared with the control, respectively,,the utilization rate of N、P、K increased by 165.44%,581.57%and 185.20%respectively,at the same time can significantly increase the soil total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, organic matter and available nutrient content, increase soil catalase, sucrase, urease and alkaline phosphatase activity.
