摘要
刘焉、刘璋父子时期巴蜀地区政治活动的主要参与者,除巴蜀大族、外来士人、东州士外,还应充分考量四川盆地东西两侧山区的军事力量,及在长安朝廷任职的蜀郡赵氏。巴蜀大族反抗刘焉,不仅因为刘焉杀当地豪强,也因其行为妨碍了蜀郡赵氏与巴蜀大族的结合。刘焉借助董扶、赵韪控制了盆地东西两侧的军事力量,是他能够在战争中取胜的重要原因。刘焉时期外来士人入蜀的还不多,东州士入蜀更是在刘焉与巴蜀大族的战争之后,故并非支撑刘焉统治的主要力量。刘璋借助东州流民击败赵韪后,采取了对外来士人和巴蜀大族并重的策略,而巴蜀大族政治地位略高。在与刘备的战争中,巴蜀大族普遍追随刘璋直至成都投降,外来士人则大量地较早投向刘备。
Regarding to the main participants in political activities in Ba-Shuarea under the rule of Liu Yan and Liu Zhang,not only Ba-Shu clans,clans from other states,and refugees from the east were included,but the military forces in the mountainous areas on the east and west sides of Sichuan Basin and Zhao family of Shu that served in the Chang'an court should also be fully considered.The reason that Ba-Shu clans rebelled against Liu Yan was becausenot only Liu Yan killed the local tycoons,but also his behavior prevented the union between Zhao family and Bashu clans.With the help of Dong Fu and Zhao Wei,Liu Yan controlled the military forces on the east and west sides of the basin,which led to his success in the war.During Liu Yan's rule,clans from other states who entered Ba-Shu area were limited.Moreover,the time of the refugees moving into Ba-Shu was after the war between Liu Yan and Bashu clans.Accordingly,they were not the main forces supporting Liu Yan's ruling.After Liu Zhang defeated Zhao Wei with the assistance of refugees,he drew clans from both Ba-Shu and other states into his political group,while Ba-Shu clans obtained somewhat higher status.In the war between Liu Zhang and Liu Bei most of Ba-Shu clans followed Liu Zhang until Chengdu surrendered,while a large number of clans form other states surrendered to Liu Bei too early.
