摘要
1.5μm窄线宽保偏单模激光在空间通信、卫星遥感和激光雷达等领域具有重要的应用价值。文中通过采用off⁃peak 940 nm泵浦技术,减少了1.0μm波段ASE发射和自激振荡,使用高转化效率反向泵浦方案减少增益光纤长度,从而抑制SBS效应,实现了高功率窄线宽单模保偏激光输出,单模输出功率达32.6 W,线宽为5 kHz,是国内已知采用该技术的最高单模激光输出功率。主放大器的光⁃光转化效率达40%,线宽展宽因子为1.1,光谱SNR劣化了2.56 dB,RIN劣化了1.62 dBc/Hz@1MHz,偏振消光比大于16.1 dB,且放大后拥有良好的光束质量,表明该技术方案不仅可以有效提高输出功率,还具有良好的性能保真特性。
1.5μm narrow⁃linewidth polarization maintaining single⁃mode laser has important application values in space communication,satellite remote sensing and lidar.By using an off⁃peak 940 nm pumping technology,reducing 1.0μm⁃band ASE emission and self⁃oscillation;using high conversion efficiency reverse pumping scheme to reduce the gain fiber length,suppressing the SBS effect and realizing high power narrow⁃linewidth single⁃mode polarization⁃maintaining laser output.The single⁃mode output power is 32.6 W,and the linewidth is 5 kHz,the highest single⁃mode laser output power known in China is used in this technology.The optical to optical conversion efficiency of the amplifier is up to 40%,the linewidth broadening factor is 1.1,the spectral SNR degradation is 2.56 dB,the RIN is degraded by 1.62 dBc/Hz@1MHz,and the PER>16.1dB,thus it has good beam quality after amplification.The result shows that the scheme has very high power amplification ability and good performance fidelity.
