Objective To explore the effect of real-time monitoring of hospital infection on strengthening the management of hospital infection, and to analyze the effect of applying information technology to enhance the management and control of hospital infection. Methods 118 severe ICU patients in our hospital from July to December 2019 were selected as the research object, and 118 ICU severe patients from January to June 2019 were selected as the control group. The control group was given artificial monitoring by hair coloring full-time staff. The observation group was applied to the real-time monitoring system of Xinglin hospital infection, and the incidence of urinary tract infection and the rate of missing infection were compared between the two groups. Results Hair coloring hair coloring and urinary tract infection rate in the observation group were 1.69%, while the incidence of catheter related urinary tract infection in the control group was 9.32%. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). The missing report rate of 118 patients in the observation group was 0, and that in the control group was 6.78%. There was statistical difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion The system meets the needs of hospital infection monitoring and management, can be used as a reliable source of data for prevention and control of hospital infection, with high economy and safety.
