摘要
现代化无疑是近现代中国所面临的最大时代课题。而且也只有到了近代,这一课题才具有特别突出而紧迫的意义,因为现代化首先是一个时代性概念。由于中国所面临的现代化课题从一开始就是与全球化即西方资本主义的全球性扩张联系在一起的,所以如何处理现代化与西方化的关系,始终是一个充满着矛盾的复杂问题。经过一百多年为现代化而持续探索和奋斗的过程,中国已经走过了"西天取经"("向西方学习")的阶段,开启了独立探索"中国式现代化"的新阶段。这无论对中国和世界的未来发展都具有重大意义。
Modernization is undoubtedly the biggest problem in modern China,and only in modern times can this issue have a particularly prominent and urgent significance,because modernization is first and foremost a concept of the times.Since the modernization issue faced by China was linked with globalization,that is,the global expansion of western capitalism from the beginning,how to deal with the relationship between modernization and Westernization has always been a complex issue full of contradictions.After more than a hundred years of continuous exploration and struggle for modernization,China has gone through the stage of"learning from the West"and opened a new stage of independent exploration of"Chinese modernization."This is of great significance to the future development of China and the world.
