摘要
硫酸钙是一类广泛应用的人工生物陶瓷材料,其来源广,价格便宜,不仅可用于颅骨、牙槽骨等骨组织的修复,还可作为载体运载抗生素、生长因子、骨形成蛋白等。尽管硫酸钙具有良好的生物活性及生物相容性,但其降解较快,脆性较大,力学强度低,难以单独用于大段骨缺损的修复。因此越来越多研究着眼于硫酸钙复合型骨移植材料的研发,不仅可以减慢硫酸钙的降解速率,而且能够提高硫酸钙的力学强度。然而在运用于临床之前,仍需对复合材料的生物相容性进行严格评价,包括炎症反应、细胞毒性、肾毒性、遗传毒性等,以避免将复合材料植入到机体后所造成的相关不良反应。
Among bone grafting alternative materials, calcium sulfate is one of bioactive materials with high biological activity, biocompatibility and biodegradability, which is applied widely in basic research and clinical settings. However, it remains limitations when calcium sulfate is applied alone due to its fragility, low mechanical strength and fast degradation, Therefore, more and more calcium sulfate composites have been developed to overcome the disadvantages of the pure calcium sulfate, involving allogenic bone, bioactive ceramics, organic high-molecular materials, which not only decelerate degradation, but also enhanced mechanical strength of the implants. However, all these materials need to be strictly evaluated before clinical application, involving inflammatory reaction, cellular, renal and genetic toxicities, to avoid adverse events induced by the materials secondary to implantation.
