摘要
仪器或设备网络化已经成为趋势,为解决采用串口通信的传统设备实现网络通信,设计并验证了一种基于ENC28J60的串口服务器。该串口服务器由ATMEGA64单片机、ENC28J60以太网控制器、MAX485和MAX232等组成,可以实现IEEE802.3网络接口到RS-232、RS-485和RS-422等串行接口的协议转换,实现串口-网口的双向数据传输。实验结果表明:所设计的串口服务器能使传统设备快速实现以太网接入功能。
The networking of instrument or equipment has become a trend.In order to get traditional equipment with serial port to achieve network communication,a serial server based on ENC28 J60 is designed and verified.The serial server is composed of ATMEGA64 MCU,ENC28 J60 Ethernet controller,MAX485 and MAX232.It can realize protocol conversion from IEEE802.3 network interface to RS-232,RS-485 and RS-422 serial interfaces,and realize bidirectional data transmission between serial port and network port.The experimental results show that the designed serial server can make the traditional equipment realize the Ethernet access function quickly.
