摘要
19世纪40年代开埠后,上海成为中国最重要的对外贸易口岸、面向世界的窗口。从这一时期开始,西方商人不断涌入上海,投资建厂、开设洋行、积累资本,上海各行各业都发生了翻天覆地的变化。与上海近代室内设计有关的行业,包括从事建筑材料进出口业务的洋行、经营家居产品的生产厂商、家具生产制造商以及从事设计与施工的洋行均为上海近代室内设计里程碑式的现代化转变提供了社会与行业基础,对近代上海室内设计向现代化、专业化、多元化和大众化的过渡起到了至关重要的作用。
After the opening of the port in the 1840s,Shanghai became China's most important foreign trade port and a window to the world.Since this period,Western businessmen have continuously poured into Shanghai to invest in building factories,opening foreign firms,and accumulating capital.Great changes have taken place in all aspects of life in Shanghai.Industries related to Shanghai modern interior design,including foreign firms engaged in the import and export of building materials,manufacturers of home furnishing products,furniture manufacturers,and foreign firms engaged in design and construction have made milestone changes in modern interior design in Shanghai.Industry development has played a crucial role in the transition of modern Shanghai interior design to modernization,specialization,diversification and popularization.
