摘要
Mona Baker提出的翻译叙事建构理论为文学翻译研究提供了新的框架。本文选取海外译者,即海外华人译者王际真和汉学家译者蓝诗玲,对其翻译的鲁迅小说译本进行叙事建构的比较,分析两位译者如何在时空建构、文本内的选择性采用、标示性建构和人物角色的重新定位等四个方面进行翻译现实的建构,从而深入思考这两类译者群体的叙事建构差异及其生成动因,以此为中国文化“走出去”提供新的指导。
Mona Baker’s theory of narrative construction in translation has provided a new framework for the study of literature translation.This paper selects Wang,Chi-chen and Lovell,who belong to overseas translators,and their translation versions to compare their narrative constructions and analyzes how the two translators construct their narrations from four aspects,namely temporal and spatial framing,framing through selective appropriation,framing by labeling as well as re-positioning by participants,so as to consider the differences and reasons of narrative constructions of these two kinds of translators.On this account some suggestions for“Going Global”of Chinese Literature via translation can be given.
