吴孟超,中国科学院院士,2005年度国家最高科学技术进步奖获得者,我国肝癌研究的开创人之一,生于福建闽清县,1940年自马来西亚归国。吴教授1949年毕业于同济大学医学院。他是海军军医大学(原第二军医大学)一级教授,博士生导师,一位杰出的医学科学家,中国肝胆外科的主要奠基人之一。
Wu Mengchao, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, winner of the National Award of Science andTechnology of China in 2005, a pioneer in Chinese liver cancer research, was an overseas Chinese born in MinqingCounty, Fujian Province,and returned from Malaysia in 1940.Prof. Wu graduated from Tongii University Schoolof Medicine in 1949.He is grade-one professor and PhD supervisor of the Navy Medical University (formerlySecond Military Medical University), and is known as the major founder of liver surgery in China and anoutstanding scientist of medicine.
