摘要
近年来,国别与区域研究成为人文社科领域的一门显学,相关教学和研究在众多高校中蓬勃展开。《外国语言文学类教学质量国家标准》为外语类专业从事国别与区域教学和研究提供了政策上的支持。然而,在当下高校英语专业本科教学实践中,国别与区域研究的课程体系和教学方法仍显滞后。值此发展良机,高校应主动作为、对标找差,在厘清“英语+国别与区域研究”复合型人才定位和培养目标的前提下,采用并置式和融合式等方式进一步优化国别与区域研究课程设置。同时,还应通过加强师资队伍建设、完善配套教材编写、探索多元教研路径和健全多层次人才培养体系等举措,切实提升“英语+国别与区域研究”复合型人才培养质量,主动服务国家对外开放战略。
In recent years,International and Regional Studies(IRS)have developed rapidly in the fields of humanities and social sciences,and many universities have conducted relevant teaching and research.National Teaching Quality Standards for Foreign Language and Literature Majors at the Bachelor’s Level offers support for the foreign language teachers to engage in the teaching and research of IRS.However,the current curriculum system and teaching methods of IRS for the English major undergraduates demand further improvement.In light of this favorable policy,the English major undergraduate educators should modify the course objective,promote IRS teaching with parallel courses and Content and Language Integrated Learning(CLIL)teaching conception,build up teaching faculty,expand teaching materials,and explore diverse teaching approaches to cultivate interdisciplinary talents with“English+IRS”education background so as to meet the demands of national opening-up strategy.
