摘要
英语语言能力是我国大学生必须具备的技能,该能力的培养也是形成专业化、复合型人才的必要路径。英语听说读写循环教学法打破了传统的听说读写各自为政的教学方法,以学生为本,通过听说读写教学活动循环进行的方式,促使知识迅速有效地转化为技能。听说读写循环教学法在英语公众演讲课程中的应用,既证实该教学法有利于提高英语教学的质量,促进学生应用型英语技能的获得,也提供了该教学法实践的经验和对策。
English language competence is a skill that Chinese college students must be equipped with,and the cultivation of this competence is also an essential way to form specialized and compound talents.The Circulation Teaching Method of English Listening,Speaking,Reading and Writing breaks the traditional teaching method which separates the inter-dependence between listening,speaking,reading and writing.It is student-centered to promote the rapid and effective transformation of knowledge to skills by practicing such teaching activities as listening,speaking,reading and writing in a circulated way.The application of the Circulation Teaching Method of Listening,Speaking,Reading and Writing in the English Public Speaking Course not only confirms that the teaching method is conductive both to improving the quality of English teaching and to promoting the acquisition of students’applied English skills,but also provides practical experience and countermeasures for the teaching method.
